Subculture Live is the live music identity under Fred Perry's music initiative called Subculture, that promotes music discovery - bringing you the brightest young talent on the music scene onto a global stage, alongside music pioneers.
The live music series was first introduced in Singapore in 2010 and continues till today, globally and in the markets under our care - Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
We took over unconventional spaces and redefined gig experiences from the iconic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station to an abandoned basketball court in Kay Siang Rd to a futsal court under Thomson Flyover, The National Gallery and bike garage, The Gasket Alley.
Artists who have performed on the Subculture Live stage included Astreal, Tiramisu, Caracal, Charlie Lim, Plainsunset, The Great Spy Experiment, Cheating Sons, The Pinholes, I Am David Sparkle, MONSTER CAT, These Brittle Bones, Toko Kilat, Bittersweet and many more.
The Subculture Live line-up also featured UK headliners like Citizens! (Kitsune) and DJ sets by Jack Savidge (Friendly Fires), Gary Powell (The Libertines) and The Vaccines.
Since 2010, thousands have experienced Subculture Live - a proud celebration of the brand’s longstanding relationship with music and youth culture.
